The story, in the studio's words
A trap with two kinds of threat
In the aftermath of a devastating natural disaster, an isolated village becomes a trap. Damien and his daughter Luna are forced into a desperate struggle to survive as escape routes collapse and a parasitic outbreak begins spreading among those left behind. What first appears to be a fight against the elements becomes something far more disturbing as the infection moves through the community and threatens the human body from within.
Separated by chaos and driven by the need to reunite, father and daughter face a landscape where the living are increasingly difficult to distinguish from what the outbreak has left behind. OBITUS combines survival horror and body horror in a story about family, loss and the price of staying alive.
Setting and tone
The story is built around isolation: remote village environments, forests, damaged structures, severe weather and limited routes of escape. The visual approach emphasizes atmosphere, physical danger and a cinematic widescreen presentation.
Central themes
At its core, OBITUS is about survival under compounding pressure. The relationship between Damien and his daughter Luna gives the outbreak a personal stake, while the parasite threat explores loss of bodily control, fear of infection and the cost of remaining alive.
