Press play: the Someone's Daughter trailer

Dropped July 2, 2026

Someone's Daughter (2026)

A criminal defence lawyer, Sam, (Pascale Bussières, Ma Vie en cinémascope, When Night is Falling), finds herself kidnapped and abandoned on a remote island along with former client Paul (François Arnaud, Heated Rivalry, Fucktoys, The Borgias), who she previously cleared of sexual assault charges. As they make their way through the unrelenting Canadian wilderness, Paul’s behaviour forces Sam to question the man she once defended. As doubt gives way to fear, she finds herself facing a choice no lawyer should ever have to make.

Opening against Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, this one will be fighting for the same weekend conversation.

Someone's Daughter opens in theaters on July 21, 2026.
